Elnaz Yazdani - Experimental Embroidery
In this workshop Elnaz will guide you through a variety of hand embroidery techniques, applications and creative methods to get you started on your own creative path of embroidery. Exploring experimental approaches buy, using unusual materials, goldwork, beadwork and applique techniques. This two-hour workshop is suitable for beginners, all materials included.

Cosmos: Experimental Embroidery and Embellishment

This creative embroidery workshop led by artists Jessica Grady and Elnaz Yazdani will introduce you to imaginative and experimental techniques to try with mixed media textiles.
Taking inspiration from our recent Cosmos exhibition, this workshop will explore how everyday materials can be transformed into exciting embroidery and embellishment ideas. Both artists use mixed media materials and hand stitch in contemporary and tactile ways, opening your eyes to the possibilities of this versatile medium.

This contemporary embroidery course spans three days and consists of supported tutor time and guidance by Leeds based Embroidery Artist and Educator, Elnaz Yazdani. Elnaz will guide you through a variety of hand embroidery techniques, applications and creative methods to get you started on your own creative path for embroidery design and making.
Elnaz runs a number of groups for Stitch_Up throughout the week and weekend classes.
