Embroidery Fertility Project
Take part in a new embroidery project with artist Elnaz Yazdani. Are you encountering fertility issues and in the process of trying to conceive via assisted conception? Join us for a series of embroidery workshops ran by Elnaz Yazdani as part of a PHD project in Social Anthropology where we will explore and represent your experience.

Join fibre artist Elnaz Yazdani and look at embroidery in a way you might not have before.
Elnaz will guide you through a variety of beautiful and intricate techniques using an array of experimental threads and materials to create your own unique piece of art.

This workshop offers a practical introduction to experimental hand embroidery, exploring how embroidery can be used as an artistic tool to express yourself, connect with others and improve wellbeing. The session will also examine how embroidery can serve as a methodology to engage communities and individuals in research projects, embellishing, transforming and connecting through stitch.
